Proxima, the Broodseeker
A new face with a hook, lightning, and apparent crowd control.
What we know
Proxima is new to the series and shows up across official screenshots and UI material — usually mid-fight with a hook pull or a lightning follow-up. She reads as the control pick: drag an enemy out of formation, burst it down, reposition. Not playable in the current beta.
Where to find Proxima
Not found in the beta. Location unknown for the full game.
No verified route yet. When one exists it lands on the interactive map first.
Ability
Official media shows a hook pull that closes distance (or pulls enemies in) and a lightning effect that follows. Whether these are one ability or two is unverified.
How Proxima plays
Speculative until playable: isolate targets with the hook, kill them before the group reforms, use her mobility to reset. Likely the highest skill ceiling in the roster if the previews are representative.

Field notes
- She is the Shell on most of the official key art — expect her to matter in the full release.
- The vfx-lightning assets in the game files match her preview effects, which suggests her kit is far along in development.
