Eredrim appears in official preview footage as the heavy option: highest survivability shown, barely any mobility. In Mortal Shell 1 he was the armor pick, and the sequel's previews show the same idea — walk forward, eat a hit, give back two. He is not possessable in the current beta build.
What to do next
Based on previews and his Mortal Shell 1 kit: pair him with the heaviest weapon you own and stop respecting enemy attacks. His weakness is anything he can't trade with — ranged enemies and arena hazards.
